  1. You are a deep thinker. Still, if a woman is attractive everyone understands a man choosing her no matter where she is from, or in previous eras what social status she has. It's assumed the man is a hedonist. I think that is the real perception. Women are not supposed to put a premium on looks because they are thought to be more concerned with a man's status. So the reaction to a woman with an African husband is bewilderment. Or prurience.
