Actually they are old refurbished A models from stockpiles and now the US govt does not have to pay for their upkeep anymore, boom problem solved!

@Jsakiwonder it's not their equipment, look at the markings, they're Afghan aircraft. Do you know why that Russian helicopter next to the "american" one has the same paint scheme?? DUN DUN DUUUHHH!!!

@TOMAS-lh4er the Afghans didn't fix or maintain them in the first place, US contractors did and the left weeks ago. They would have more luck hitting it with a hammer and hoping for the best.

@John Hero well that was ultimately the Afghan peoples, and nearby neighbouring countrys fault for not doing anything about it. Taliban just walked in and took the country, literally, and the country rolled over and played dead. What exactly did they think was going to happen?

@azia5051 Haha those are far from new, the are UH-60As, as in the very first blackhawks. The new blackhawks are UH-60M, these are just refurbished museum pieces from stockpiles in the desert. Nice guess though.
