  1. Increasing unemployment is seen as more electorally beneficial than increasing inflation. Unemployment seems more like the responsibility of the individual than inflation. Unemployment is not permanent unlike inflation either.

  2. For people interested in farming / rural life I would recommend Farming Explained on YouTube. A centre left young farmer. Really interesting channel that covers the history of the countryside and how it got to where it is today.
