New Zealand is already drifting away from US foreign policy/spy/security wise and replaced by Japan.

It took Canada 8 years to sort a trade deal with the EU cause it’s a confederation meaning each province has its own tax policies. The regulations would be hell to sort given how each nations trade. Two are exporter economies two are import economies, like that alone makes it an issue. What is possible is just an expansion of the 5Eyes from security to military alliance though NZ would probably leave that. The initial concept was most likely devised by a pro Brexit think tank lobby group to try and get Conservatives to be optimistic about the UK leaving. If this was to happen it would end in chaos.

This agreement would take 20 years plus to sort.

Turkey though has always been expansive in regards to foreign policy till the fall of the Ottomans, the current semi authoritarian leader already has colonies in Syria, drones in Libya though once he is outed the nation will have to look internally to sort out its GIANT wealth disparity and make peace with the Kurds.
