  4.  @ThingsILikke  Calling him eccentric is unfair. A lot of people are eccentric, probably even me, without being involved in this. It's just a means of demonising people who are naturally different as opposed to those who make a point of doing wrong.

  5.  @ThingsILikke  I dislike terms like that because they are so vague. "Strange" or "odd" can mean anything from a trainspotter or Esperanto enthusiast up to what you're talking about.

  8. Very few people I've spoken to knew. Some thought at the time it was malicious gossip (which does happen). I've heard a few stories of people having encounters with him since his death, but it came as a surprise to most people, who just thought he was eccentric. George Galloway hugged him in the Big Brother house. Never forget that.

  13. How many times? There is nothing wrong with being odd or socially awkward, it's criminal actions which are wrong. There are a lot of "different" people out there due to autism or whatever and they don't appreciate being tarred with the same brush as Savile.
