  1. Very popular book and ran into many editions. You'd be surprised to learn how many designs there are for C.S. Lewis' Space Trilogy which is nowhere near as popular as this.

  2. Simplicity is sometimes best. Dune refers to a quasi-Islamic culture, where even making machines in the form of a human is frowned upon.
