@olmostgudinaf8100 The same supply chain shortqges are occurring in the USA. No Brexit in sight there. Augason Farms wholesalers over there recently announced they had to shut for 90 days due to supply chain issues. No one wants to blame the obvious issue which is what has happened over the last eighteen months with draconian restrictions everywhere.

@olmostgudinaf8100 Denial of what?I don't support Brexit, because I'm a Scottish nationalist (hence my user name) and don't think it's in Scotland's interests to be even more dominated by England. The EU for all its faults provided some protection for Scotland, and supported infrastructure development. (Although they are even keener on these nutty totalitarian QR IDs than Boris is.) However, there are multiple factors here - some discussed in this video - and the same issue IS happening in the States and Australia. Shutting down the entire global economy for months on end, sending people away for two weeks when they're not ill, adding multiple barriers such as IDs to prove you've taken the medicine, and internal movement restrictions... none of these help. Augason Farms' closure is not "denial", it is fact. It's happening stateside, yet supposedly they have free movement across a huge chunk of North America- Canada is largely off limits these days. The obvious issue with Brexit is stricter border control, but even after Brexit it is in the interests of much of Northern Europe to have some kind of trade with the UK. Especially places like northern France, Benelux etc. The EU continues to trade with Switzerland, Norway and places like Andorra no problem.

@animalcol1 I agree that Brexit issues may well be permanent, but that is the reality we now live in even if we don't like it, and it is not in the interests of either London or Brussels to make it worse. Or places like Calais, Zeebrugge, Europoort in Holland, the ROI etc which rely on regular trade with the UK. In Ireland, tens of thousands commute between both parts of the island everyday or did until recently. However, not the bug that has caused most of the problems, but the crass, cynical and inconsistent response to it. The problems the response has caused are permanent - one in seven shops in Scotland are now out of business thanks to it, nearly all wee ones, never the big ones. That is probably not the final figure, but this happened within months of these shut downs. I could wander around in a supermarket with hundreds of people around me but I couldn't get a new key cut in a small shop or buy new shoes. Utterly disgusting. I also saw planes coming and going to the Gulf, Italy etc but I'm not supposed to talk to my neighbour over the fence. It is a disproportionate response since very few people even know they have the wretched thing. But it has been allowed to destroy the economic system worldwide. This "Build Back Better" slogan the Tories used at their conference pops up with Biden, Trudeau, Morrison, Ardern and even in Pakistan. Where do they get it from? They obviously didn't invent it. Nor did they invent these disgusting IDs they are gradually bringing in for nightclubs and sports matches. In some countries you are denied basic human rights if you don't have the QR ID. It's evil and needs to stop. It doesn't even prevent the bug.

@aangelini776 You prove my point. Ever since Scotland was put into the UK, its people have left it in droves. Including you. Or so you claim... The changing your name bit was a detail too far. Scotland is already in the abyss thanks to the Union. That's why people leave, and it's not the case in better run countries of the same size. Doesn't matter if Scotland is run by the fools in the SNP or the fools in the Tories, they're both headed up by people who call themselves "global citizens" and are bringing in tyranny and mass surveillance.

@aangelini776 Can't do anything about the rain, but can change the government. Nicola Sturgeon talks of "global citizens', much like Ardern does. Or Boris uses "Build Back Better". Their language shows who they really serve.

Curious thing is that the same issue is happening in the USA and Australia, but a different excuse in both cases from here. Augason Farms a US food wholesaler had to shut for 90 days due to supply chain issues.

@madrockon7357 Yes, this corrupt government wants to introduce passes to do everything and track you, like they have in over a hundred other countries. You need them to go to football matches ans night clubs, and they will gradually introduce them elswhere. I read about Lithuania the other day where if you don't have these passes you can't even go to shops or get your hair cut. Or ride buses.

This is a country which closed 90% of the free toilets because of recent scaremongering and totalitarian nuttiness. You will soon need a government pass to go into a toilet, like you need one to go to a football match. It's bad in some places. In Edinburgh they had people doing no. 2s in the park because they'd locked everything up and were forced to reppen.

@TheWeepingDalek That affects the public worse than it affects the bosses. The entire global economy was pretty much put on strike last year and everything's now collapsing, and the nutty politicians want more and more restrictions including government permission to access basic services. (They've already started on football games and nightclubs, watch it work its way down.)

Constant testing for you know what and every other related restriction? We're not even allowed to mention that by name on here. People being kept off work for two weeks due to the test and not even being ill? And now even more restrictions being brought in permanently such as ID checks for all.

@H-Zazoo The veteran charities make millions every year. Most of it goes nowhere near ex-servicemen. The streets, psychiatric hospitals and dole centres are full of them.
