This scene was (for me) the most powerful in any of the movies. The unspoken emotion, Superman’s landing, Lois’s resignation, understanding, lowers her arms and she just knows she is O.K. Superman’s calm anger... then boom. Terrorist gone. And you just know... that had to hurt.

@dhm5675 — In the prior movie, I believe it’s stated that Superman has never killed anyone. That’s why at the end of the previous movie when he kills Zod by snapping his neck, it is such an incredible moment as Superman screams “No-ooo!” So, the terrorist may be alive and has nearly every bone in his body fractured, or you are correct... Dead Terrorist before he hits the far wall. But either way, visually effective “Oh F’” moment.

@mimo9906 — Yup. Being hit at ballistic speeds... if that doesn’t turn your hard parts into soft parts nothing will. From the moment he raised the gun to Lois’s head his fate was sealed.
