  1. Not trying to be an ass, but I firmly believe that YouTube is so very, very wrong in this instance. History CANNOT be varnished or made Politically Correct. Any attempt to edit the facts, is editing history, those eliminated historical facts that you have edited out are most likely to be that points that we will forget and be deemed to repeat. So... WHAT CAN WE DO? Given that the squeaky wheel gets the grease, who do we contact, write to, call, etc. because in some instances, like yours, YouTube demonetization cannot be tolerated. Why not simply insert a warning at the start saying something like "WARNING, SOME JAPANESE PEOPLE MAY BE OFFENDED BY THE REPRESENTATION OF THESE EVENTS, HOWEVER IT IS HISTORY THAT DESERVES TO BE REMEMBERED." This video was NOT hateful, inaccurate or derogatory to anyone, it does not instigate violence, it’s just facts. Perhaps a few thousand letters and emails might get YT to modify what they consider inappropriate. Please tell us how we can support you!

  3. CALL TO ARMS! If you think history not only deserves to be remembered, and DESERVES TO NOT BE EDITED EITHER... CONTACT YOUTUBE! There are some things that should NEVER be edited to make them politically correct. This video does not incite violence, prejudice or hate, it has no agenda, it is factual, and it may deserve a warning ⚠️ that "SOME JAPANESE VIEWERS MAY FIND THESE FACTS OFFENSIVE," but it DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE FORCIBLY EDITED FOR CONTENT OR DEMONETIZED! Please, if you like this channel, get off your bum and TAKE ACTION to get YouTube to edit their process, not the videos. What is next? Because if this continues every subject that you deem important is at risk of being deemed hate speech.

  4. The History Guy: History Deserves to Be Remembered — My apologies, I didn’t mean to imply that it was. I assume that someone took offense at the wording, clicked "Report" or multiple reports were received generating an automated demonetization, and on your appeal a YouTube representative took about six seconds to decide that the report was valid.
