Is he though? Keep in mind his âcrimeâ in the public eye was being gay. Spaceyâs case had nothing to do with the #metoo movement, it was not a Harvey Weinstein moment where he unzipped his pants and asked âhow badly do you want this role?â The kid went to a after show party at Spaceyâs house, found liquor (was not served), got bored, found a bedroom and was dozing off while watching TV, when Spacey entered drunk, touched him and said essentially âyouâre cute.â To which the kid replied âYouâre not, youâre OLD!â And Spacey replied âItâs time for you to leave.â No assault, no sex, no nada. When Rapp brought it up publicly, Spacey apologized for making him feel uncomfortable, adding he didnât remember the incident. Rapp reinforced his statement many times that there was no assault, no sex, just touched him to wake him up and paid him a compliment. There were multiple accusations after the news broke, including 2 police investigations. The common denominators for all claims were âall over 18, Spacey made a pass, the person said no, they went their separate ways. At what point do people wake up and say âNO BIG DEAL?â

Please tell me you are aware of the specifics. Rapp with his then boyfriend both underage crashed (not invited) a cast party at Spaceyâs house, found alcohol (not served), got bored, found a bedroom and was falling asleep when Spacey entered drunk, woke him up and told Rapp he was cute. Rapp responded âYouâre NOT, youâre old!â To which Spacey replied âPartyâs over, time for you to leave.â No sex, no assault, no #metoo type of moment unzipping pants and asking âhow much do you want this role?â Years later, when Spacey heard the news, he apologized for making him uncomfortable and told the world he was gay. Later multiple people came forward and said they were also approached, police investigated, and the common denominators for ALL CASES were 1. Over 18. 2. Spacey made a pass, they declined, both went their separate ways. 3. No charges were filed. For this⌠Kevin Spacey lost his career, and we were all cheated out of his future performances. And dolts like you call him a sex offender. Is being Gay a crime?

@saberhap2639 â Correction, searched for and found the links. My apologies for doubting you, Iâm very sorry. What I see are coincidences, with no direct link to Spacey. I fail to see the motivation Spacey might have for retaliation as in all cases they were over 18, Spacey made a pass, they declined and they went their separate ways.
Previous comment: I just searched for that, sorry. Youâre lying. Care to share a source as apparently google knows nothing. I do see lots of info and analysis of his accusers, no assaults occurred. In all cases, again, Rapp was underage, but all others were over 18, all said Spacey made a pass, they declined, they went their separate ways. Why are you trying to spin this with lies? What motivation could you possibly have? Seriously, I donât get you.

@register1430 â 10% of men have had a homosexual experience, so yes, about 5%. Add women (higher), add bisexuality, add questioning, and add the entire LGBTQ+ alphabet and you have over 20%, nearly 25% depending on the study. Granted these statistics are in the USA, not Afghanistan where they throw gays from rooftops. All I know is that when we looked at the details of Spaceyâs case, it was completely different than anything else in the #metoo category. It was investigated extensively, and not one case was successfully filed against him. What the public learned was Spacey liked men, and was promiscuous, and THAT ruined his otherwise outstanding career.

@saberhap2639 â I goofed, I did find some links after posting my prior response (Iâll edit it). I see the deaths, but⌠no direct or indirect connection to Spacey other than their initial accusations. And again, their original statements/cases were investigated, all were over 18, Spacey made a pass, they said no, they went their separate ways. And yes, 3 are high, but given they were promiscuous homosexual males, and the host of different risk factors inherent to their lifestyle⌠without some sort of other link, I am not sure I want to hang Spacey for their deaths.
