  1. LuisOrtiz231 — Gus Kenworthy has been a positive force for change his entire life. I’ve been aware of him since he was a kid, totally awesome skier. As mentioned in the prior post he competed with a broken thumb AND a hematoma. A hematoma sounds minor, ehh just a broken blood vessel, a bruise. But they can be extremely painful, and have you seen the pic’s of his hip area during the Olympics? That little bruise, hematoma, was Frickin’ HUGE! It started at elbow level and went down to mid thigh on his side. And he competed, he tried, and I can only imagine his sadness at his performance. He didn’t wimp out, he manned up. Tens of millions of people were in awe of him and will remember his name for the rest of their lives. He is an amazing inspiration everyone, not to mention being a kick in the pants for the entire world for being out, proud, and literally redefining the gay stereotype. He will probably stop more suicides than we will ever know because he is such an amazing person. Kids worldwide can see someone they can identify with as a phenomenal person who just happens to be gay. Which brings us to you, I’ve already forgotten your name, and don’t care.

  2. The PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES actually thinks handing out a few paper towels HELPS the people who Need food. Housing, medical care and ELECTRICITY!? When we have a Tornado in the States that causes major electricity outages, we send EVERY available resource to restore power, and even deploy the military to assist. Where is our response to the Puerto Rico people? Where is FEMA? As a U.S. citizen I am ashamed and embarrassed by our President and his, our, lack of action! Why aren’t we flying planes there 24x7 filled with building supplies, food, and people to assist them? Our lack of response is deplorable!

Obama was up front, didn’t lie, and had the nations interests at heart, not his own reelection in a few months. ADDITIONALLY, if you read the transcripts you can see trump KNEW it was a baseless accusation when he requested it. He didn’t request they investigate Biden and Biden’s son, because it’s already been done! Trump asked only for the ANNOUNCEMENT! He asked that Ukraine president "make a public announcement that they (Ukraine) were investigating the Biden’s," and that funds would be held up pending the announcement. How do you not see the manipulation here? This wasn’t about crime, this is about trump being trump. "Shillary is a crook, lock her up," Pocahontas? All trump does is cast doubt, make innuendos, muddy the waters, anything, any lie, just to help or benefit him.

Why do we have to chose between Biden, the old man groper of young women and Trump, the 22 rape accusations, 5 abortions paid for, 73 known admitted affairs and 30,000 people defrauded guy? Whoops I left out Trump’s model-escort wife’s history, although I’m not quite sure that’s a negative... isn’t there a BETTER choice than these two?

  10. Debates simply require a certain number of people in that state to sign their support. Each of these candidates got the signatures esquires. Chaotic, yes. I would like to see a half day debate with some structure. Candidates interrupting each other and speaking over each other is shameful. Poor Yang, has some interesting ideas but seldom asserts himself to make a point.

And the nation hears his words and says "Yeah, poor trump being harassed by those horrible mean democrats!" And NO ONE IS RAISING THE FACT TRUMP BLOCKED ALL WITNESS TESTIMONY AND ALL WHITE HOUSE DOCUMENTS ON NATIONAL SECURITY GROUNDS. Can’t hear the conversation, can’t hear from the people who did, can read only the redacted transcripts they provided. Welcome to America, where truth, law, and ethics are tossed out the window.

Trump identified a public sentiment, identified people’s problems and tuned his response with their predisposition to hate. Trump identified a scape goat minority, blamed them for the problem of the masses, and then sold himself as the person with the plan and means to help them. In common parlance this makes trumpets as stupid as sheep.

Not my cup of tea either but my son is gay and I love him and want him to have a good life. Don’t care if you don’t like him, he is still my son and a human being. If you want to see true hypocrisy, check out the differences between the Republican Anti-Abortion stance and the Democrats Pro-Life stance. It is self evident that the reason for the Republican Party fighting EVERY effort to save babies life’s, now , today, immediately, has nothing to do with saving lives, but has everything to do with keeping the money from the Religious Republican’s flowing. The Republican Party doesn’t want to save lives... or they would. It’s about your money.

  19. Hey Shipwreck , You left out the paper towels. Didn’t know that, thanks for the info! Did he do this before he visited, or get everyone involved after his visit, which correct me if I’m wrong, was three or four weeks after the hurricane? Thank you for your kind reply.
