The judge might have just ruled yes, but either he made a statement or the judgement/decision contained those words as justification of his declining Trumps efforts to suppress evidence. (His legal team is fighting the release of ALL information. That’s WHY this case was heard.

I have a small gun safe bolted to my nightstand and one bolted in my car. It takes all of one or two seconds to have the gun in my hand if it’s ever needed. I’m sure you’re going to respond won’t work if you are hit and fingers bloody, and you are correct. It would take an extra 15 to 30 seconds to enter the code, about the same if I needed the key, So you’re right, I’d be dead possibly. But I also frequently open the safe when I start my car or hit the sack, and just tap it closed when I get out or up. IMHO, that’s a small price to pay to keep a gun from being stolen. Which by the way, is where most guns used in crimes come from. Most common sources are theft from homes, usually by someone who knows you have unsecured weapons or finds them on entry, or from public sales like garage or flea markets.

That a bunch of citizens armed with firearms could defend against jets, tanks and attack helicopters is laughable. But your statements indicate you don’t understand my perspective at all. A gun or “assault rifle” doesn’t do anything, it just has the capability to give you a chance to survive an attempt. I’ve been robbed, held at gunpoint for four hours and the police afterwards were like “no big deal, you can file a report if you want but they’ll never catch the guy.” No gun has ever jumped out and shot someone, people did that. Did the availability of the gun mean they used it instead of a hammer, axe or shovel? Absolutely. We are blaming the gun, and ignoring the human factor. The human factor IS THE CAUSE. And our constitution was written in pencil ✏️, which means as public opinion shifts if we don’t work together to curb gun violence, we WILL face the loss of the second amendment. And then law abiding citizens will turn in their guns, and criminals will laugh.

If Saudi Arabia pulled/sold off its investments in the USA, and stopped selling us oil, it was projected it would ruin our economy.

Hint it even happens with police. Or my sweet old neighbor who caught two men burglarizing his barn. One rushed him and he fired a warning shot. Then while he was distracted dialing 911, another rushed him and he fired a second warning shot. Then during the 911 call you can hear them asking how many shots you got man, and the remainder of the call was thumps as they beat the crap out of him. What I meant was that Reagan signed a law that limited spending if the budget wasn’t balanced with one big caveat; “EXCEPT DURING TIMES OF WAR.” Bush 1 struggled with it, Clinton did balance the budget 2 years by moving major expenses to the following year... which I’m sure you remember the big raises congressmen and senators got, the first in a decade. Then came Bush 2, started with a 2 billion budget surplus and reduced taxes 2 billion and gave a 2 billion tax rebate to everyone. Then he said “ohh darn,” when he realized the effects of Reagan’s Bill. Then 911 “happened” and we’ve been at a War on Terror” ever since. We attacked Iraq and Afghanistan under pretense of WMD’s that were never found, and now we know 911 was funded by Pakistan, trained by Pakistani military on Saudi soil with a Saudi assistance and knowledge. Then we passed a law prohibiting US citizens for suing foreign countries for acts of terrorism. There are other things also that all point to the possibility that 911 wasn’t what it seemed. We may never ever know the truth, all I know it that it all stinks.

Another interesting thing is the common misconception that the civil war was about slavery, when it was really about states rights to govern independently without federal control. While it’s wonderful the civil war freed the slaves, that wasn’t Lincoln’s interest or intent. It was never on the agenda or in his mind until the south started forcing slaves to fight. Lincoln freed the slaves, the emancipation proclamation, to get black union soldiers to defect to the north towards freedom, i.e. it was a tactic to help win the war.

  113. If he lies in court when asked directly by a judge, yes. A lawyer can lose his license and be disbarred. But a lawyer is allowed to lie to defend or protect a client. For example there’s a clip of Trump’s lawyers in court being asked repeatedly “were there any poll watchers in the room,’ and the lawyers sidestepped the question saying they couldn’t see, their view was bad, their view was blocked. The judge got very direct and demanded a yes or no answer, it was “Yes,” and the judge dismissed the case. Edit: To be clear, before the case started, they can lie, they can make false statements, but cannot lie, commit perjury themselves when asked questions by a judge. The lawsuit mentioned asserted that poll watchers were not allowed to be in the room as the poll workers and were seeking a mistrial. They can lie to bring the lawsuit, they can lie to people or the press, but cannot lie to a judge when asked a question in court.

The US military reports directly to him, which is why he set the stage by replacing top pentagon officials with sycophants, and military officers and aides threatened to resign one by one if he gave the order to use the U.S. military to stay in power.
