Patch Clan ā As a Caucasian man, I politely disagree. It is my hope that everyone of any race or color would get the same benefit of the doubt. Yes, I know itās not a perfect world, and that blacks do get convicted more often and with longer/more severe sentences than other races. But please know that many whites, such as myself, see the injustices and are deeply angered by them. Itās not a perfect world, the only thing we can do is to try and make it better ā To be part of the solution and not be part of the problem. Please know that many of us "whites" see you (all persons, irrelevant to race) as brothers, friends and family members, and it saddens us greatly when injustices happen. That said, I hope that this trash (you may read white trash if you wish, but I dislike that phrase too) gets the death penalty, dies slowly and painfully, and spends eternity in hell. Yes, I know that might sound harsh and unchristian ā Iām working on being a better person... Iām just not there yet.

Dogbite007 ā Iāve known a few people convicted of sexual offense and are now sex offenders. One was convicted of a crime when he was thirteen and was tried as an adult. 13! One man was convicted of rape for having sex, for the first time, with his soon to be wife. The wife admitted it was consensual, but was against her previously stated religious beliefs, and so she called the police three days after the event. He is now a sex offender, and they are now married.
Hereās the thing, every situation is different, every case, every individual, different. Some are bad, and repeat offenders who deserve the restrictions. But there are others who are not a risk to society, who suffer the same lifetime, yes LIFETIME classification, which inhibits their ability to survive even after their sentences have been served.
I was once like you. OMG! A sex offender! I donāt want them in my neighborhood, near my kids schools, near me! But as Iāve learned more about the PEOPLE, I realize the system is flawed, seriously flawed. There are entire industries built and sustained around either keeping sex offenders in check, or being paid to council, rehabilitate them, with a direct need to keep them in the program to perpetuate their income. An example of this was my 90 year old neighbor who was being assisted in his home getting a shower and made a pass at the home health care aide. She reported it, her company called the police, who investigated, and he admitted it thinking he had done nothing wrong. Because it was an unwanted advance he was ordered to undergo counseling. The phycologist there gave him a visual test, and told the 90 year old guy to click on the screen here, or there if he was attracted to them, and here to move forward to the next picture in the series. He was told point blank that if he wasnāt attracted to any of them he would have to retake the test, and it wasnāt cheap. The result? My 90 year old neighbor who knows NOTHING about computers, ever, never even had a cell phone, was branded a pedophile, and is now a sex offender for life. He didnāt want to 'fail' the test so he said to me in the car on the way home that he had selected a few, he thinks. The kicker? HE IS LEGALLY BLIND! Has been for 20 years since he had a stroke. They gave a blind man, who can barely make out light and dark shapes in front of him a VISUAL test and branded him a sex offender. No debate, as he had already pleaded guilty to the "offense" of making a pass at his home health care aide, and now he is a PEDOPHILE. A registered sex offender.
So your comments that they deserve to be jobless and sleeping as indigents in parks under highway underpasses kind of bothers me. I agree, SOME are dangerous, and NEED to be monitored. But the efforts to keep the public safe, the system, is seriously hosed. To label all sex offenders criminals is just as wrong as labeling all oriental people smart, blacks dumb or criminals, etc., Iāve seen the system, and met a few of them, and they are just people sometimes, as imperfect as you and I. And no one, no one ever should be forced to live under an overpass in tents without running water and without sewage, with no means to support themselves.

Ed Denoy ā Yes, it can get messy quick. But the man who took the kid to the parents just grabbed the kid by the back of his shirt because he started to run away. The kid wasnāt hurt, and once he was held stopped trying to get away. Before you start correcting me how wrong that was, let me share another story. My coworkers son was joint custody after their divorce, and both parents tried to make their son like them better, anything he asked for was a yes. Late? Rude? Ran across the car rooftops at the fathers apartment complex (thousands in damages), nothing was a problem. The kid was spoiled and entitled. Trouble is he turned 18, and got smart with the wrong person, then pissed off a cop, then attacked his parole officer. The kid is 22 now and looks like heās 40, missing teeth, low paying job, and now he is polite and nice, because he found out the hard way some people should not be messed with.
Sometimes people AND KIDS need to be grabbed by the collar and told "NO! That is unacceptable behavior." Before you get all SJW on me, my point is we try as parents to prepare our kids for life in the real world. Teach a kid they canāt be touched, and like my coworkers son who screamed "F' YOU A*HOLE!" At a guy who was in his way. Then he screams how heās been wronged when the guy pummeled his face to a pulp. Yes, we shouldnāt hit kids, but sometimes a slap on the face can help them as much as a college education can.

Ā @MrStv1163Ā ā Thanks for the info, Iāve watched a few news segments since commenting and one said what you did, the other cited a domino effect of personnel issues, crew snowed in in Denver or ? Canāt catch the flight needed to crew their work flight. Might be the same thing? I was thinking if they had any form of proof they were on that flight, other carriers can/have used paper like old school days. As far as systems failures, I kinda do. I work for AT&T, used to work for Delta for 3 years, and Iāve contracted for AA. Redundancy is key, backup systems, alternative data routes, all critical.

@Bo BiceĀ ā Not just Democrat businesses were getting burned. And perhaps you fail to understand how this works. Governors ONLY can call in the national guard, not cities, not mayors, and itās not cheap. This is why governors ask that the president declare an emergency as doing so provides funds. And they werenāt on the criminals side, it was a political minefield, but you know that. And no, Trump didnāt ask, he tried, which is why the pentagon officials wrote that letter. And youāre ignorant of the fact that itās unconstitutional to deploy the US military on US soil, against US citizens. Youāre trying to troll too hard, your mixing lies with misinformation to try and defend a presidents actions which were inexcusable.

Mass shootings have been happening under BOTH parties presidential terms. Trump or any politician point fingers is just posturing. What I would rather hear is HOW we can tighten up gun control purchase and ownership issues without trampling on the second amendment. Or how we could start school programs on how to recognize depression and anger issues in yourself, and what to responsibly do about your own feelings. Every time I hear the NRA protecting the publicās right to own military hardware, or someone blaming someone or something else for mass shootings like this it just makes me ill. At what point do we say ENOUGH TALK, do something. Prayer vigils, flowers, and people giving speeches are sweet AFTER an event such as this. But where was the SUSTAINED push for change in the weeks before this event? My fear is that as this event fades from our memories, so will itās urgency. And just for the record, I am a gun owner, not an NRA supporter, and I am in favor of stricter gun ownership laws. Everyone, including the NRA should be working together on this issue. Including revisions to the second amendment. In the 1700-1940's there was some truth to the thought that an armed populace could protect America from outside invasion. However, given the current advanced state of military technology, that concept has been rendered not just obsolete, but ludicrous.

The SCOTUS just agreed with you. Bottom line of their decision, 22 agencies available, 1 does not offer adoptions to LGBT people. That is a Religion based organization, and the court affirmed their right to be selective. This is good. However your comment That you are āSick of this being shoved down our throats,ā speaks of your personal bias. Letās be clear, the bias you have just voiced is WHY itās not going to stop. LGBT people are NOT less āanythingā than you, not less deserving, not less human, not deserving of less rights, and NOT less of an American citizen than you. Ask yourself why people keep making this point, keep marching, protesting, and keep standing up for their rights? Think if it were blacks being denied adoption by the church would YOU also feel that they were āshoving it down your throat?ā I think not, as blacks have fought, petitioned, marched and rioted to affirm their right to stand as equals. But you canāt stand LGBT people to do the same. Why is that? Why are you triggered by it?

OwlsEyelash ā I do live in the USA and I am familiar with our press. And yes, I do see your point, sort of. Whenever the press or news mentions a criminal issue involving a Caucasian they rarely reference the persons race or say "white," but when referencing a person of color they do frequently say "Black," "Hispanic" or whatever. I and a lot of people notice that fact. What I donāt understand is your anger or assumption that they didnāt initially call him a terrorist because he was white. He may have been, and if the police's research shows him to be racially, politically or religiously motivated I will be right beside you denouncing him as a terrorist. My point was that to refer to him as a terrorist before the facts are known is wrong. Now that more information has become available, he did seem motivated by hate. Republican family, online rants about God, against gay marriage, and many other issues. The news has also brought up the point that perhaps Austin was targeted because it voted majority democratic while the rest of Texas mostly voted republican. But thatās all supposition until all the facts are in.

Why? Because 25 LGBT kids attempt to commit suicide every minute, it is a big issue. Every LGBT person remembers THAT moment when they realized they had a secret. Kids grow up, come of age, and would rather be dead than gay. THAT is why we care, knowledge is the way to help kids tease others less because they are different, ignorance leads us to make their lives worse. There is NO agenda other than wanting to not be harassed, bullied, told we should have been aborted, etc. And your ignorance to assume that only LIBās hate this bill makes me want to puke. All yāall are 100% behind antiabortion, but gay kids committing suicide, ehh, letās make it worse!

Ā @GigaChadDuPlessisĀ proof? Seriously! Trump accused Hillary of working with the FBI to tap his campaign HQ phones, and more. Read the Mueller Report to see that Hillaryās campaign staff investigated a email server break in, they were stuck, so hired an IT firm, they traced to Russia, the IT firm hired a former CIA operative with experience working in Russia, who found the company involved and āpossible links to Trumpās campaign.ā They turned their information over to the Hillary Campaign HQ, who called the FBI, and turned over all that they had found to them. The FBI researched the documents, found the information credible, and OPENED THEIR OWN INVESTIGATION. The FBI tapped Trumpās phones as collusion, working with a foreign government to influence an election is against the law. Then even thou The Mueller Report stated āThere is ample evidence of both collusion and obstruction, we are unable to prosecute a sitting president at this time.ā Then Trump declared himself INNOCENT, COMPLETELY EXONERATED! And you Trumpets BELIEVED HIM! You shout LOCK HER UP! at rallies even though Trump started the email hack of Hillaryās servers by working through Russia. Many people went to prison for their roles in helping Trump do these things! They were independently tried in a fair court, by jurors of their peers, unbiased, and found guilty based on the evidence! Then trump tried to coerce Ukraine to āannounce that they were opening an investigation into the Bidenāsā, note not DO an investigation as that had already been done, just announce it. Again, a total of 14 of Trumps people were fairly tried, found guilty multiple felonies, Roger Stone got 7 convictions alone. Even in the senate impeachment trial, the Republicans opened with āNo witnesses will need to be called, as the presidents actions are not in question, they are proven, the question before us here is whether those actions are an impeachable offense or not. Again, the president was not impeached for what he did, declared himself innocent, AND YOU DOLTS BELIEVED HIM! And dude... just google what ever else you think I said that was wrong... and read for yourself. Everything I said was true!

Willis Allen Jr ā Do I dare chime in on this issue? Iāve always admired Cathy Griffin, but must admit that when I saw the original unedited video, with Trumps bloody head in her hand, I was shocked, it was in very poor taste. But then I was also shocked at the fallout, the negative comments were also in very poor taste. Whatās the difference between taking a photo of a fake dead trump, and thousands of people, some here on this very thread, saying she should literally have her head chopped off. For real. Hello? Sheās a comedian, her job description is literally to push the envelope and make people THINK! Was she wrong to take the photo? Probably. Were YOU wrong for for saying "Kill her," "Chop her head off," Yes, probably just as wrong! Why canāt we just take a deep breath and let her live her life?

Ā @_CetarialĀ ā Is he? Trump litigates every lawsuit, meaning if a vendor sues him for non-payment, he buries them in lawsuits. Even a nuisance lawsuit can easily cost $10.000 before you even get to the trial phase. No man is above the law, and I for one am just sick of him. The incident Iām was thinking of was Trumps business ordered business cards, the order for the entire firm was under $3,000 which he never paid. They sued trump, and Trump caused the printing company to go out of business in the worst way possible. They buried him in legal counter lawsuits, the business suffered a break in, their client list was taken, all of their clients got better offers from other printers. When he filed for bankruptcy, Trump through multiple other businesses placed liens on his HOME seeking restitution for their legal fees. I never found out what finally happens, but that someone would bring a guy, his company, his employees to lose their livelihood all because they dared ask Trump to pay⦠š”

Cory S ā itās much worse than you think! Every time Trump speaks, they gobble it up! Trump said it was a democratic hoax, 9 of my relatives and 11 from our church booked a European vacation, when they got to Paris they were ordered to hotel restriction, but hey, itās a hoax, they snuck out anyway. On return they were rerouted to the west coast to be quarantined again for two weeks. They blame the evil baby killing democrat perverts for ruining their vacation. Trump said it was over by Easter, they again made plans to get together at a family reunion to celebrate our great president and Easter. Trump changed to April 30, ditto, plans are being made. Try and point out a president canāt order a virus to die, they laugh, tell me I need to re-examine my faith. Trump is doing gods work saving America, America is blessed, Christians will not be affected by pestilence as psalms says, and the evil democrats who hate America will be defeated. Itās worse than you can imagine.

Flashing your brights momentarily is NOT a crime, itās done by everyone. While I do believe cops deserve the benefit if the doubt, at the very LEAST the officer should have a reprimand filed for lying to the driver and ALLOWING himself and the situation to escalate. Yes, if the damage to the officers face was caused by the kid, I can see why they ruled in the officers favor. But officers deal with the worst 10%, 90% of the time, it skews their perspective. Iāve seen officers lie on the stand and feel fully justified for doing so. There should be dash cam footage to collaborate this event, If there was none, something is fishy. I would not put it past an officer to bloody their own face to support their case after a shooting such as this occurred. Iām not saying thatās what happened, just that itās not beyond possibility, the officer was caught on camera lying to the kid, and while getting the benefit of the doubt, their integrity DEPENDS on their honesty.

Jake Roberts ā Or should I call you Florida Man? I think you missed the humor part of my statement, LOL! I simply meant that hurricanes are as bad or worse snow. But I didnāt realize that you were a climate change denier, which being Florida Man makes perfect sense. You remind me of my relatives, who believe that if trump said climate change is fake, it is fake. As a semi-quasi educated person the statistics and visual photographic proof is indisputable, the earth is warming, the polar ice and glaciers are indeed receding, period. The questions are IF the change is man made or natural, and IF the water will actually rise as much as they project it will. The not so humorous part is that if we do nothing, we face major change completely unprepared, and if it is man made, we lose the chance to reduce mans impact. So react, make changes and we might live, deny climate change and we and our kids future is at risk.

I know you Republicans disagree, hate is your new mantra, every evil YOU do is blessed, sanctified and Justified by God, but you are in for a surprise when you meet God and try to justify your crimes, lies, corruption and infidelities by saying āBut I was a Republican! With all of the election CRAP Trump and the Republican Party has pulled, to even point a wagging finger at the Democrats is hilarious! Worked w 2 foreign countries to influence an election, told his people to vote twice, told the nation mail in voting was fraudulent, then out his guy in charge of the USPS to slow it down, then changed the law in multiple states to make votes count if they are RECEIVED by Election Day as opposed to postmarked by it. Then in states like Texas change the mail in ballot drop off points from cities to counties, meaning that to make the deadline people would have to drive hundreds of miles in some cases, sit in traffic, lines, just to drop off their ballot at the county drop off point. Republicans have done EVERYTHING possible to bias the system in their favor, including pack the SCOTUS with Republican loyalist judges so that his appeals would stand a better chance of success and keeping Trump in office. @DEEP SPACE NATION, right back at you. Why are Republicans suing states to āSTOP THE COUNT?ā The right to vote is a constitutional right, you are literally un-American for even suggesting this, let alone litigating for the end of democracy! Even in states where Bidenās leading they are suing to stop the count! Which is hilarious as if they complied, Trump would have sued the state to let him lose the state before a full vote count had been completed. If that doesnāt make you laugh, nothing will! š¤£

Ā @sorzin2289Ā ā Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, THIS phase of the same war still continues. Iām not naive, you evidently are a Russian or Republican dolt. I mean Bot, my bad. I like to oversimplify, and as RUSSIA ATTACKED UKRAINE, Russia is the aggressor, Russia is wrong, and Russia deserves whatever it gets. They elected Putin overwhelmingly with over 90% of the vote, and now they are only beginning to feel the pain THEY have inflicted on others. Letās see how you feel when Russian casualties Line the streets like they have in Ukraine. Letās see how Russia likes cold winters without power, heat or fuel. And seriously, Russia doesnāt just need to stop, they need to lose. Why? Because if Russia takes Ukraine, and Putin proceeds with his plan to take Finland and Poland, both of which ARE NATO countries⦠Hell will be here on earth. Think this through⦠life as Russians know it will be over, and that is assuming Russia doesnāt use Nukes. This thread postulates that military industry profits, which they do, but that has absolutely NOTHING to do with this conflict. Want it to stop? All Russia has to do is walk away. But Putin just keeps pushing, attacking, targeting and killing Ukrainian civilians. Naive is not realizing that NATO and the USA are limiting the weapons and support they are providing Ukraine. Every escalation has been in response to Russian actions. This entire war is planned by, caused by, orchestrated by Putin. Russia is in the drivers seat, all he has to do is hit the brakes or turn around.

@Drew Blood ā Seriously? The weather AND climate change are interrelated. Want to know what separates forests from deserts? 2 degrees in worldwide temperature. As the world warms, and we see changes, weather events increase. We are currently at an increase of 80% more severe weather events decade over decade. People like you donāt seem to be able to comprehend how nature is affected by temperature change, recently I listened to our pastor say that increased forest fires were a sign of Gods final days and NOT climate change, he almost said the end of the world is a good thing as Gods time is near. I applaud his sentiments but not his iQ. Warmer climate means less rain, which means drier forests, which means more combustion and forest fires. This in turn means warmer air, less trees, less oxygen, and less rain, and the cycle worsens.

Ā @kevinc.8926Ā ā Everything you said is wrong on so many levels. You are making a boatload of assumptions based on one simple comment. I am a Republican, a Christian, my family and I are vaccinated, done really care about the politics of the vaccinations, just that it helps reduce the spread, so we did it. All of these Trumpets spouting crap, all supposition, when there have been no statements from the airline stating staff shortages due to any assumed vaccination mandate. And by that I mean Southwest Airlines is based in Texas, which has zero mask mandates by law, and so therefore the company would have no mask mandates unless the pilot/crew were based in another state and THAT state had a mask mandate. Not to mention, why are you politicizing a virus? Seriously dude, give it a rest.

My relatives believe Trump was appointed by God to save the nation, ALL acts, lies, crimes etc., are sanctioned by God as Trump and the Republicans are doing Gods work. Think about that⦠NOTHING MATTERS but Trump and the Republicans work to continue, all other priorities rescinded, all ālies, crimes, any means necessary are sanctioned by God.ā To them, we are ungodly, so therefore wrong on every point.

Reaver Bode ā I havenāt heard of the land takeover theory, interesting. And youāve just stated some facts out of context. Have thousands of scientists denied human involvement and responsibility, yes. I believe it something like 7%, over 90% agree. The question isnāt āis global warming realā that is provable in several decades of satellite photos showing snow/ice loss all over the world. What is in question is if those changes are man made or natural, and if (a great big IF) the water levels rising to what they project. Think if it this way, you can see a huge storm on the horizon, smell it, see the lightning getting closer...do you deny it or take cover? We have a choice, whichever side of global warming you are on, do nothing or try and prepare. There is the āpotentialā for this to be an extinction level event, we can adapt or face the consequences.
1
-
Reaver Bode ā Iām lost why you wanted me to read that article from 2012, it clarifies what I said, and is 8 years old. āGlobal warming can be observed since the 1900āsā O.K., so we can all see a trend. āScientists are of mixed opinion as to if the phenomenon is natural or man made,ā then states ā80-90% believe man is having an adverse effect.ā
Summary, probably real with a 98% probability, man made is debatable with as few as 80% of scientists saying it may be due to mankind. Will it be as bad as projected? Who the heck knows? AGAIN, failure to plan could mean failure to survive. You are literally standing on train tracks posting snippets nearly a decade old saying false alarm. Stepping off the tracks (ADAPTING) is just smart, staying on the tracks is lunacy. The earth is warming, forget the āwhy is itā issues. The only thing that matters is we try, we plan to adapt. Because failure means possible albeit remote, extinction.
1
-
1
-
Reaver Bode ā āA 2012 study shows only 25% of scientists believed humans were the cause of climate change.ā AGAIN, FORGET BLAME, FORGET CAUSE! The issue is we deny and face the consequences which include potential extinction, OR we adapt and plan to lessen mans footprint on the earth, and plan to adapt to the changing conditions. Itās like you are standing on a hill and a landslide is bearing down on you and YOU are standing there saying, itās a hoax, landslides have happened before, it could be natural, it could be man made... we donāt need to do anything. Change is happening, you can see the time lapse over 50 years of satellite pictures of glaciers and hundred years of temperature tracking. And you are lost on the āoh, itās happened before... no biggieā argument. How is it you have the brain of a human but the survival instincts of an ostrich?
1
-
Reaver Bode ā Yes, some survived and many died. Watch this please... https://youtu.be/pIxRVfCpA64 While just a projection, the impacts are scary. If you want to read something really scary look up the USAās contingency report on their plans. Initial coastal areas impacted, forcing millions inland stressing infrastructure and food supply lines. The second phase is much of the Midwest underwater if water rises about 50ā, This means food shortages, and much higher consolidation of people in massive numbers as people flee other countries for anywhere they have a chance of survival. Think 3000 people storming our southern border with Mexico caused a panic? Imagine 30,000,000! USA has plans to ādefend Americaā and you donāt want to know how. Also imagine how life might be if the US population were consolidated from a fifty foot sea level increase, power grids threatened, food supplies reduced or lost, infrastructure failures... we are talking about what disaster movies are made of in real life. Will it happen? I donāt know. But I do know we are idiots and deserve to be extinct if we donāt at least try to survive, plan to delay the inevitable, plan to adapt.

Ā @dawaj3715Ā ā Agree completely, but that is a HUGE undertaking that must be prepared for. Let me rephrase⦠Assume youāre just out of high school, single, and want kids someday. Do you start buying diapers and baby food now? No. The spouse, income to support a kid, support a family, etc., all must come first. Thereās already speculation that this burst pipeline was by an activist, just like the people that started the California fires š„ to bring attention to global warming. That made it worse IMMEDIATELY, and did little to help the cause, it actually fueled a backlash. Want to get rid of oil, SUPPORT alternatives, then be the first to migrate. By being a customer/consumer, an early adopter you will do more, faster, than trying to just stop oil use.

Ā @hitthegoatĀ ā Is it? The worst thing about oil is itās not clean, not renewable, and a diminishing resource. We exhausted our āpooledā oil resources, now we are working on extracting oil from rocks (fracking), which they say will keep America self sufficient for years⦠but anyone with a brain knows thatās just marketing slogan. Proponents of fracking insist its safe, environmentally safe, that the injected chemicals are well below the water table, yet when you look at the chemicals we are putting into the earth, their effects on humans, it WILL scare the hell out of you. Then you have idiots like me who have lived in Dallas for 30+ years, never experienced a local earthquake, yet after fracking started in Irving 12 miles away, we now have them regularly. All I know is when you listen to a business that PROFITS from the industry that it promotes as āsafe,ā I have doubts. I mean would you drop off your kids at a Nursery named Child Molester Recovery Nursery, even though they insist itās safe? Yes, I have trust issues.

Ā @derricksmith8978Ā ā Re: āNo, oil companies should replace it.ā Probably not gonna happen⦠I just watched a newscast that explained why. Many companies including oil companies, or any company that operates with vehicles for example, or companies that have a product that has a particular liability vector, such as cell phone companies towers. The companies split off those divisions or sections into different smaller companies there are supposedly, at least on paper, independently owned. This way a small operator owns that piece of the pie, so that if there is a liability issue they can simply declare bankruptcy and not affect the parent company. The California oil producers for the companies that originally on the pipeline donāt on the California pipeline section anymore, it is owned by a small company in Texas called vector energy I believe if I remember correctly⦠And essentially that small company will be responsible for any liability claims and if it cannot pay, it simply declares bankruptcy. They do this specifically for that reason. For example any company that owns a series of fleet vehicles those vehicles and the drivers work for a subcontractor not the parent company that is on the name of the trucks. They do this so that if a company vehicle we are in a family and create a big liability issue, the insurance company of the family injured cannot sue the parent company, they have to sue the company that employees the driver and rents the truck. Meaning that the parent company with deep pockets is protected financially, and the small company only has a limited amount to lose in the event of a lawsuit. Welcome to 21st-century legality reality 101.

We might want to clarify this⦠She never had a case, or a lawsuit asking her to do so, yet somehow escalated this to the SCOTUS level. Think please, there are businesses all over the country that have āNo Shirt, No Shoes ā NO SERVICE!ā Two businesses that I know of in Texas have signs in their windows or exit doors saying āNO F4GS!ā or āNO GAYS!ā and they arenāt an issue at all because any privately owned business can serve whomever they please. She made this an issue because of a nonexistent issue or condition, based on fears of the Colorado Lesbian cake case that went to SCOTUS. A lesbian went into a cake shop, ordered a wedding cake, the order was accepted and she received a receipt showing her deposit and day of delivery [a CONTRACT]. Then on the wedding day, the shop said no, and refused to even return her deposit. The cake shop had NO SUCH SIGN ON THEIR DOOR, accepted the order and gave a receipt, meaning there was a contract that the company could have refused and returned her deposit at any time. The women sued the company and won based on the CONTRACTURAL issue, and the bakery was ordered to return their deposit. Then wedding shop appealed and lost based on the contract they failed to honor, and then the case hit the news and morphed into a religious rights issue eventually going to the SCOTUS level. This woman could have and can put any sign or message they wanted on their website such as āPROUDLY SERVING HETEROSEXUAL CUSTOMERS ONLY!ā But didnāt, somehow escalating to the SCOTUS level without a case. So this woman sued for a non-existent reason, and gained the right to refuse service to anyone, a right afforded to literally EVERY private business in America with the exception of medical services in the event of a medical emergency. This has WEIRD AF written all over it. People are claiming discrimination, others screaming Religious rights upheld, when nothing and I mean NOTHING has changedā¼ļø š¤£

Ā @jawbone78Ā ā Iāve been robbed, robbed and beaten, and also burglarized. The police showed up hours or days later to take a report without ever hearing from them again. I spent six months in hospitals and rehab after one event, I use a cane to this day. Iāve been a CHL holder for about 30 years, and had zero incidents since then. I am not a danger to anyone unless they attack me, and often not even then. I had a drunken neighbor try and hit me and stopped him without ever even thinking of the gun in my pocket. Want to know the point of my comment? Every time guns are restricted deaths, especially multiple deaths decrease⦠then return to normal. The only difference is death by hammer, axe, or knife in this case. The issue is the human factor. I know we will disagree on this issue, and Iām not trying to argue. All I know is that in the moment of an attack, you are on your own. If you are unarmed, you are at the criminals mercy, IMHO being armed gives you a chance, albeit a slim one.

Ā @kalebjones5581Ā ā She starts off by saying āit (their count) was within a hundred of the original count, but that there were statutes broken which did not affect the count.ā The statures line I assume means laws, which has already been disproven in hundreds of court cases. Then a guy talks about how babies sleep patterns have to so with ballot signature verification patterns, explaining hoe a million of then showed bad signatures based on the comparisons of the baby sleep pattern inconsistencies, resulting 567 having bad signatures out of 1 million 500 thousand some odd signatures, which meant that the final. One count may have been off by a fraction of a percentage point. Again, based on comparison to babies sleep patterns compared to the signature patterns, final result was .00425%, variance. When they discussed 15,000 duplicate Republican votes, of people who submitted two votes (as instructed by Trump to do) that also did not affect the final vote.
Dude, this is dribble. Iām sorry, pixel density, which they ESTIMATED BY EYESIGHT VIEWING (Not by computer) of millions of ballots, by different untrained people, then converting these ESTIMATES of pixel density, based on comparisons against baby sleep patterns, all to estimate the validity of signatures on the envelopes. They counted 34,000 duplicate votes in one county, again by Republicans, and based on Scribbles and blanks, and likely blanks but with marks. WHAT THE FREAKING HELL DUDE?! This means NOTHING!
Edit. And please excuse me, but what does signature pixel pattern density have to do with babyās sleep patterns? What possible correlation does this have, especially considering they found 567 out of how many million? Letās use this logic, when I look at my lawn without my glasses on, itās blurry, therefore because my baby slept through the night 2 nights out of 92 nights, this obviously must mean Trump won. š³

Ā @leonblack2651Ā ā No, you said they are all evil, I was working with your myopic logic. Our goal should be to improve, every day, bit by bit, to at least try and do the right thing. All Iām suggesting is that you TRY, instead of giving up. Apathy is the enemy, doing nothing is not a viable option. Imagine a food shortage, youāre at a store and the shelves are bare except for a can of beets and a can of corn, both are marked up to $45 because this is America. Youāre starving, and can only afford one. Do you pick the can of corn because it tastes better but you know itās essentially starch with little nutrients. The beets taste yucky š¤¢, but you know are full of the nutrients your body needs. Do you A) do nothing and starve (your current choice), B. Chose corn š½ to satisfy your hunger that day, or C. Chose the beets that will help you more?

Willow's Channel ā NO! I will not support the Democrats! And I watched the clip, the whole clip, and thatās exactly what trump said at the beginning, this [coronavirus] is a hoax. What saddens me most is that trump has essentially destroyed everything good about the Republican Party in less than 3 years. Anti-abortion, trumps paid for 5. Murder, he killed a foreign nations general for political points saying at the meeting āLetās take him out, my people will like that.ā Honor and integrity, he lies constantly about everything. Thou shall not steal, heās defrauded well over 30,000 people. Adultery, he has an open marriage with over 37 known provable affairs over the last decade. Faith, never been to church, read the Bible, and doubts god exists. He contradicts scripture in his words and deeds. He uses prostitutes, and WE forgive and ACCEPT all of this behavior from him. We, the Republican Party once were the party of faith! Now we are one step away from worshiping satan. Trumpās a MAN, yet my pastor says trump was appointed by God to save the nation, as such he has been blessed, sanctified and justified by God, and is essentially a saint, and that we may pray through him if we wish. HOW DOES ALL OF THIS NOT SCARE THE DUNG OUT OF YOU, AND SEND A CHILL UP YOUR SPINE?!

Shawn Heenan ā No one, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE wants to kill babies! Donāt be a simpleton! That you could even say that shows you to be a closed minded sucker who has been manipulated. Ever study the difference between the Republican anti-abortion stance and the democrats pro-life stance? Pro-Life means saving babies now today, as many as possible. How? Instituting waiting periods to allow pro-life churches groups, churches, agency and or government staffers to explain the motherās options, assistance with work, education, housing pre-natal care, delivery and if desired adoption options. Sounds good, so ask why the Republican Party spends almost 500 million annually to FIGHT THESE EFFORTS?! Seriously, WHY?! The Republicanās seek to make it illegal, a murder charge, literally for mother, doctor and assisting staff, which would drive it into back room abortion clinics costing the lives of mothers AND their babies. Did you ever THINK that maybe possibly republicans donāt give a flying crap about saving lives, but care greatly about continuing the anti-abortion evangelical relationship and the money and support it brings into the GOP war chest? Did you know that over 60,000,000 babies have been killed in the 47/48 years since Roe vs. Wade was enacted? If babies LIVES were the issue, why would the Republican Party fight to keep pro-Life laws and efforts off the books? Dude, you and every other evangelical, religious-right person has been lied to and manipulated! How do you NOT see that itās ALL ABOUT THE MONEY?
