I think it has more to do with seeking positive feedback and success filming YouTube videos. Ever search for (roughly) “YouTube’rs who died making videos?” It’s kind of scary amazing how many have! They range from workout failures (like this guy), to prank failures (getting shot), to stunt failures (parkour), to whateveryoucanthinkof. People do dangerous stuff and take ridiculous risks to get that little endorphin high from likes, views, and subscribers.
