Thank you. Sadly, businesses are largely jumping at the opportunity for more business. Most are still “requesting” masks, but I can already tell that is not being enforced.

Operator 5280 — Freedom, so you speed like crazy? You shoot your gun with wild abandon? No. We have laws to help make our world a little safer. Wearing a mask, when a virus has a two week incubation/infectious period where the person does not know they are infected is a very small thing to ask. Yes, should not have to be mandated... But here we are with people like you arguing for the right to indirectly kill others. And you think your right to not wear a mask is justifiable under any stretch of the imagination. Seriously?

@mballer — Hard for you to understand, but you do not have the right to speed and do 120 on the freeway endangering other people’s lives, and you should NOT be allowed to go out and infect others in your community leading to other people’s deaths, even if it is indirectly. Why is wearing a damn mask so difficult? Did you not love your parents and grandparents, do you not have children that might miss you?

@mballer — Yes, I did love them. You need an attitude adjustment. I’m guessing you do 45 through school zones and honk at kids in your way, screaming obscenities out the window, and if you ever hear the thump—thump of a body, you are going to shrug and drive on... saying Darwin’s Theory at work.

@Slagalot — We have nothing but sympathy for the dolts that voted for Trump, please don’t think Democrats are heartless. There are a lot of you at my church, I just smile and treat them like a mentally handicapped person.

@antigubernare — I didn’t say any percentages. But one of my friends lost both her parents in a retirement home 18 hours apart, so please don’t be a dolt and play down the effects of COVID. She was devastated, and all because the home did not require masks of visitors, because at that time, in May, they were not mandatory.

@asm2614 — If only that we’re true. No one at my church wears masks, no one in my neighborhood, only where they are required in stores and such. And I’ve seen plenty of dolts screaming “I have rights” as they were asked politely to wear a mask in a store.
