  5.  @jawbone78  — I’ve been robbed, robbed and beaten, and also burglarized. The police showed up hours or days later to take a report without ever hearing from them again. I spent six months in hospitals and rehab after one event, I use a cane to this day. I’ve been a CHL holder for about 30 years, and had zero incidents since then. I am not a danger to anyone unless they attack me, and often not even then. I had a drunken neighbor try and hit me and stopped him without ever even thinking of the gun in my pocket. Want to know the point of my comment? Every time guns are restricted deaths, especially multiple deaths decrease… then return to normal. The only difference is death by hammer, axe, or knife in this case. The issue is the human factor. I know we will disagree on this issue, and I’m not trying to argue. All I know is that in the moment of an attack, you are on your own. If you are unarmed, you are at the criminals mercy, IMHO being armed gives you a chance, albeit a slim one.
