@JabbaJohnson445 -- Yeah... and neighbors said she was a nice girl. Neighbors in news interviews repeatedly stated she had no weapon, no knife, the officer shot her for no reason at all. Even though other neighbors said she was crazy, and in the police body cam's a knife was clearly in her hands. We may never know what happened. LET'S BE CLEAR -- All we can see from the videos is that the woman was out of control and trying to stab another woman. In the police video the man was kicking the girl in the head. All I know is the Police officer did the right thing at that moment, he ended an immediate threat.

@sweetsnbigpockets -- The event took place over less than ten seconds. All the officer had time to process was girl-knife-threat-not responding to verbal instructions, fire. Want to know a common thread in defense shootings, including police officers? 1. They keep firing until the threat is neutralized. The officer had no clue if his shots were accurate, which leads to #2. They often do not remember how many shots they fired. 3. They often keep firing until the clip is empty. This belief that police officers are superhuman has to stop, they are just like you and I. We expect them to use non-lethal force, yet we put them in situations that require split second responses or people die. We want to ban the police, yet we call them the moment we need them.

@godlove1728 — Ok, put yourself into the girl in the pink jumpers position. A woman us coming after you with a knife, she has cut you once, and stabbed you once. Then as police arrive, she attacks you again with the knife. You say knife vs. gun is so unfair! The police should have disarmed her, tried to deescalate the situation with kind words, as you are stabbed repeatedly. I say life isn’t fair. If you bring a knife to a gun fight, that’s Darwin’s theory at work.
