darthrib 12 ā People speed, so we have speed limits that save lives and that is O.K. Kids die so we created school zones, thatās O.K. as they also save lives. Motorcycle helmets were the law of the line but the Supreme Court rules we have the right to risk OUR OWN LIVES. Seat belts should have fallen into that same category but havenāt, yet, because the burden of care of idiots who refuse to wear seatbelts is well documented, so you now wear a seatbelt or risk a ticket. You canāt walk into a theater and scream fire, or fire a gun in public without cause, because it risks lives.
Yet wearing a mask, to prevent the spread of the most infectious disease ever in recorded history (note not the most deadly) with a 14 day incubation period where seemingly healthy people are carriers... āWhoa! Thatās TOO DAMN MUCH!ā Even though we know the infection rate means one person can infect over a million resulting in 5,000 dead in 1-2 months... YOU insist on your RIGHT to become a mass murderer. You shout āonly the sick should have to wear masks!ā Even though we know you can be a carrier for 14 days, healthy and spreading the virus. You accept laws for not speeding because it saves a few lives, yet scream bloody murder about wearing masks demanding your rights to kill thousands. Why? We know masks arenāt a cure, an absolute prevention, they are just a preventative measure... like NOT SPEEDING. We are 165,000 dead on our way to the initial projections Trump scoffed at of 300,000. Now the projections are nearing 500,000 expressly due to TRUMPāS LACK OF ACTION.

And the difference between 3G, 4G, and 5G is the technology, NOT the radio frequencies. 5G is all about increasing the data throughput on data channels, and increasing the number of conversations on a given channel group. Saying 5G is bad makes zero sense. Itās like saying your new radio is causing you to be sick, when the radio, frequencies, the signals, the signal strength, etc., all remain the same.

Ā @megaxenu753Ā ā Sorry, not what I said. You are operating on a false assumption. They DO have warnings, gates and locks on every cell tower, they must be turned off to approach or work on. The radios, the frequencies, and the strengths ARE THE SAME FOR 5G AS 4G OR 3G. The ONLY difference is the technology, voice compression, data compression and how they handle data and voice traffic. Letās do a little history lesson, originally TDMA, and analog technology based on one voice channel or one data channel per conversation or connection. (T1ās, 24x 64kbs ea., 1.544 Mbps) Then came CDMA, which gave data or 3G, more channels that could be used simultaneously for a single data connection, meaning higher throughput better data service. 4G, added the ability for multiple people multiple phones multiple computers whatever to share multiple channels/radios like a Wi-Fi network would to serve more people and give a higher throughput to that group of people on that particular channel set. 5G what is the necessary because voice channels under initial CDMA, 3G or 4G Still had little compression and were limited to three voice conversations per channel. If I do changes that by switching channels or treating voice traffic like data traffic allowing it to share that same cells channels, all of them, with the data, resulting in better use of the available band with which gives you more voice conversation and data through court and data connections on one cell site. You are acting like 5G is some new radio frequency that is more dangerous than anything before it. It is not. Donāt be adult and stop listening to whatever fake false weird news youāre listening to. The radios are roughly the same the signal strengths are roughly the same, they have to be to avoid interference with other south sites in the surrounding areas. Sounds like transmissions from your phone are literally one Tenth the signal strength of the old box/brick phones that TDMA started using Wayback around 1983 or fourā¦ I forget. If you want to wine or raise the flag of alarm about cell phone radio strengths holding it up to your head might be a good argument to use a headset, headphones, earbudsā¦ That would be a valid argument. But saying the problem is 5G is literally saying that your Dunlop tires are going to harm you because they are new rubber. It is insanity.
edit. One other notable change which has absolutely nothing to do with your question but is one of the reasons why we have higher capacity now than we did back in the early sailor days. Initially we use the American standard T ones, 24 channels each and around 2002 or shortly afterwards we switched to the European standard of 36 channels per T1, switching out all of our interface equipment and cards and ports and lines and equipment to adapt to that change as it would give us an aggregate growth of total conversations and data that we could carry on any given cell site. These are the facts. 5G is just a newer technology that gives cell phone companies an ability to meet increasing demand, on the existing channels allocated by the government. 5G is not a different type of signal or radio wave or anything else, is no different than upgrading your home router to the next generation. Same signal, better hardware and better software for it.
