  2. Jay Hernandez — He can’t order a company in a foreign country to do something. LOL! The executive order has absolutely zero effect. Yes, Trump did, which makes it absolutely hilarious. What’s next? An executive order for a hurricane to change direction? When the fishing industry declines, is trump going to issue an executive order for the fish to breed more? This is funny as hell and y’all think he has power over China. LMAO! Too funny.

Pete Mahmeet — My limited memory of government and executive orders from my poor public school education was that a President can issue directives to government agencies, but he cannot implement or change a law, he cannot order an entity not under his control to do squat. What this means is that as the FAA answers to the White House, he can say for example order the FAA to ground flights of certain plains, but the order must come from the FAA. But he cannot order Boeing to stop making or selling a particular plane as Boeing doesn’t answer to Trump. Trump can order Homeland security to adopt a plan to block Tik-Tok internet traffic, but the re must be a law to enforce companies to do it. If congress and the senate don’t pass a law, the executive order is impotent. It has no more power than you and I writing a letter to China’s President Xi demanding they sell Tik-Tok. Xi would likely laugh at our demands as he is laughing at Trumps executive order.

I can order the birds in my neighborhood to poop on my neighbors car, not mine but it will have absolutely zero effect. Birds 🐦 poop where they are gonna poop, China is going to do what China wants. 😁
