  1. I own a 2002 Montero, love it, it’s an amazing machine. But... if you look at the Dakar videos and PICs those aren’t Montero’s. Mitsubishi makes them look like Montero’s/Pajero’s/Shogun’s, but they are pipe cars, just welded together dune buggy’s w/ Montero body panels attached. I’m sure there are some components but... it’s not a Montero.
