  1. I am from an illegal family. My great-something-grandfather came here from Norway in the 1860’s to help build railroad trestles across America. Legal immigration didn’t start until the 1890’s. These people are coming here because they are hungry, need and are willing to work. How are they different than my family? We ALL know times have changed, and we need a stronger border, but it’s not because of the immigrants. Demonizing them because a political party repeatedly tells us they are bad, criminals, evil… that’s 1930’s Germany. Please tell me that is not what we have become.
