There are still people making references to “Trump not being “their” President.” This refers to Hillary actually winning the popular vote by a few million. Our electoral system was created for several reasons, one, it was believed that electoral voters would be better educated and community leaders as they could afford to take off work for a week or so, travel to Washington and vote. The other was expedience, there were no modern communications back then, not even telegraph lines. Collecting, counting and then transferring an accurate vote count to Washington wasn’t practical. Both reasons are no longer valid. Additionally, when the states populations began to rise, the census was created in part to make sure that the electoral voters were representative of each states populations. My idea, LOL!

None of these were mail in votes, but were judged significant because of the small number of people voting in those precincts. So, points for finding that and showing us you don’t know the difference between in person voting or mail in voting. Please tell me that you realize Trumps intent in this issue is less votes helps his chances of re-election. Trump has also placed one of his loyal donors over the United States Post Office, immediately after being told that due to the Coronavirus, mail in voting would be needed in November.   306. For anyone not sure or slept through their constitution of the United States studies; A SITTING President cannot be prosecuted. The reason is to prevent the President from being rendered ineffective by occupying his time with nuisance lawsuits. For example the Eugene Carrol sexual assault and defamation case couldn’t begin until AFTER Trump left office. That is it. If a President commits a crime while in office, he can’t be prosecuted so long as he is the SITTING President, but when he leaves office, presidential immunity ends.
