@gaboricaurte — What you see as weak, I see as diplomatic and professional. Think of it this way, would you have preferred an evil, lying old president that you couldn’t trust — Or would you prefer a more honest, kindly old president? Keep in mind also, Ukraine was considering becoming a NATO member, but had not actually done so. Sadly, this condemned them. The USA, and other NATO countries organized to fight hostile takeovers just like Russia is doing to Ukraine now. Had they signed, they would have our backing, but they hadn’t. It is not our place to take up another countries battles, especially when we are not allied. Our hearts and prayers go out to them, but what would you have us do?

@phvaessen — Being a NATO aligned nation has nothing to do with a NATO Army on Russia’s border. That is a false assumption based on a comment from Putin referencing THEIR (Russia) placing ICBM’s in CUBA near USA’s border in the 1950’s. Russia is an aggressive nation, they wanted Ukraine back, they are taking it. Putin is a liar, saying he was sending in “PEACEKEEPING FORCES” when it was an aggressive invasion of a smaller peaceful less militarized country. EVERY nation in the world should take note of Russias action, because if this is not countered, Russia will continue one smaller nation at a time, JUST LIKE GERMANY DID in WW2.
