No, LOL! Think please, DOUBLE THAT.
EXPORT TARIFFS: If we (USA) tariff U.S. exports, those are paid by the selling/manufacturing company when PURCHASED by a company in another country, resulting in a higher price for THEM, the consumers in that respective country. This is bad as it means our products cost even more, and we, America, sell less and export less.
IMPORT TARIFFS: Say the US built automotive plant, or John Deer farming equipment plant, or farmers in Mexico ship theirs goods to America, the purchaser here in America pays that and adds that expense to the product cost, so a car valued at $50k becomes $63,500. Note that as every step adds a percentage of profit, Ford/GM, or Food Distribution company adds more as they need to sell it for more and retain their profit percentage, as to transport companies, and retailers too.
SUMMARY: Say Canada Lumber costs $100 and Canada adds 25%, then when the American company buys it the cost is $125. The U.S. adds 25%, so the Lumber now costs $156.25, over 50% more.
