Freedoms of religion means allowing, granting others the right to believe or not believe as they wish. This is just a delay tactic. Anyone who has studied the constitution KNOWS that protecting the President from prosecution while in office prevents their opposition from filing legal claims that would effectually keep the presidents hands tied as his time would be consumed in court. That privilege ends when they leave office and can be prosecuted for anything they did while in office. Trumps lawyers, every schoolchild knows the why and how of this law.

Presidential immunity applies ONLY while a person IS President for one reason only, to block attempts by those against him from tying up a presidents time from nuisance lawsuits. If a President does something illegal, he absolutely can be liable for it after leaving office. That is WHY some Presidents have been pardoned after leaving office by the sitting President!

What irks me is that evangelical Christians don’t understand that “Freedom of religion” hinges entirely on their allowing others to worship or NOT WORSHIP as they please. Everyone loathes paying taxes, but it is a necessity of life. We aren’t talking about just wealthy people/families incomes, we are talking about corporations too. We have billionaires paying less taxes than the average working person. Want equity in taxation, tax ALL people and corporations equally. I get the argument that corporate taxes are a form of double taxation, but materials or anything for resale aren’t taxed. So push for a simple income and sales tax combination (still allowing for business materials for resale being nontaxable) to your local Congress and senate representatives.

Equipment and ammo sent to Ukraine is NOT the latest tech, it is excess and expired. Equipment is specifically chosen expecting it to fall into Russian hands, and give them no new tech to reverse engineer that they don't already have. Meaning the equipment may have a price tag, but it would have just been mothballed or the ammo disposed of.
