  1. It’s a tough concept for some to gras, that people you don’t like are NOT lesser Americans, lesser humans, or less deserving of the same rights as everyone else. Suicide attempts among LGBT kids has hit an all time high at 1 every 28 seconds. Bullying is making things worse. When I pointed out this to my brother who marched AGAINST an anti-bullying bill in Colorado, my brother responded “So?” He continued “It doesn’t matter Erin, Gays are going to hell, if they commit suicide they are going to hell. So it doesn’t matter, bullied or not bullied they are going to hell.” I think I’m adopted.
