  1. True, but the proliferation of weapons is what makes this type of violence more frequent. I am a 2A supporter, have a CHL, and firmly believe that our fighting every gun control and gun safety measure will someday soon lead to our losing our 2A rights. The constitution is written in pencil. We need to follow history, see what the trend is, and try to make the USA safer. If we don’t, we will have only ourselves to blame when only the criminals have guns.

  2.  @level2344  — I love your logic, but a gun is just a tool. The issue is human nature. In countries that have band guns, mass murders have indeed but not the total number killed. Remove guns, and there is a lull, then it’s death by hammer, machete and yes… baseball bats. The only change is the tools used.
