Ukraine needs to do this a hundred times! And kudos to Ukraine for their helicopters taking out the target only, no homes attacked, no civilians targeted, just a fuel dump. Nothing but applause for that one. Time to take their war to Russia, commando and guerrilla warfare in their homeland. Make them experience what they have done to Ukraine.

Nope, it was a “Peacekeeping measure.” That’s how Russia justified their invasion of Ukraine, as a “peacekeeping humanitarian effort.”

@iko5518 — Ukraine is not a NATO member, if they were, it would be as you said “USA and NATO against Russia.” Unfortunately because of this, our support must be indirect. I wish we could do more!

@DuchessTheCorso — All indication are that the attack was either by Ukraine, using Russian helicopters with Ukraine’s emblem/flag (not American), OR (and I like this one) it may have been Russian Troops operating them.

We are going to have to agree to disagree on this, you clearly support Russia, I don’t. This is expansion through force, Russia/Putin wants the former Russian territory back. Remember what happened when the world minded it’s own business as Germany attacked country after country leading up to WW2? Russia is an aggressive dictatorship attacking a free democratic nation, this invasion is wrong on every level, and even you as a Russian should KNOW this.

@wolfy4734 — You imply we should be scared of Russia, I say we can’t afford to be. Russia is a bully, 90% of the time when you stand up to a bully they lose their will to fight. Look at Russia’s success with Ukraine, they thought it would be a walk in the park, and it turned out it wasn’t so easy. Want to know if it’s a bluff, call it.

@mopar21 — “Not our war?” Can we afford not to make it our war? Russia is a dictatorship like Germany was in WW2, remember what happened there? They attacked country after country and the world said “Not Our War” right up until it was too late. With every conquered nation, Germany became stronger. Had they been stopped earlier, it would have saved a million lives.

Reagan helped pass a law that required the budget to be balanced, or the government couldn’t approve, spend or do many things such as give themselves raises… with one exception… “Except during times of war.” IMHO that was part of the reason we have been at war with Iraq, Afghanistan, and now maybe fighting on Ukraine’s side. Wish it wasn’t true.
