What irks me is that under Trump’s guidance, a two fold plan was implemented. 1. The GOP has litigated in almost all states, winning in most Republican states, to QUIETLY change the date mail-in votes were counted from ‘postmarked by Election Day’ to ‘RECEIVED by Election Day.’ 2. DeJoy worked to slow down the post office. Removed sorting machines, removed mailbox drop off boxes from major cities (mostly democrats) Nationwide. I get the profitability motive, but these steps weren’t done for profitability, they were politically motivated as a way to decrease Democrats voting impact. 😡

Actually, not. It was “ordered” to be profitable and changed to a corporation in the 1960’s. That’s why postage has gone up and up.

@BittyVids — Keep in mind that the USPS has been loosing money for decades. Sadly I believe (not sure) that DeJoy has a golden Parachute clause like many executives. Eating if he gets terminated he pretty much gets the remainder of his contract at once.

@BittyVids — Listen to the video again, she confirms that it was converted to a “Corporation” in 1970. Doubt me just ask Google/Siri. The intent was to make it independent and profitable at that time, although there has been a few government cash infusions by the government to keep it afloat. Add too that with the adoption of Internet and email, mailings have dropped exponentially year by year. It is no longer considered a “Public Service” by anyone other than people who skipped history class.

I took Uber to the grocery store during an ice storm. Getting there was inexpensive at under $10. Getting home was another thing. Initially the screen said $11., then the ride was canceled. I rebooked at $17., it was cancelled. I repeated the process to $73, then tried Lyft. It was under $14. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Just do what Delta Airlines did. Pay above union scale, give unions open access and say if you would like to make $17 an hour instead of $24., join the union.

I’m retiring and looking for a cooler climate and inexpensive living. What amazed me is that I have an over 800 credit score, and the number of banks that turned me down because I didn’t earn enough, I needed over 100k to be considered.

Trump will fix this. JD tractors are made in Mexico and shipped everywhere in the world. Trump has promised 200% tariffs on imports from Mexico. This will end John Deer Tractors. Problem solved. 😎
