We ALL seem to be ignoring the fact that more guns arenāt the answer just as less guns arenāt the answer. We are all ignoring the fact that guns DO enable mentally off-balanced people to do more harm than they might do with a tool. It irks me to no end that we arenāt teaching mental health every year in our educational system, how to keep it, how to find purpose, how to be happy, how to handle depression, the effects of bullying and how to stop it or handle it, how to spot mental issues in yourself and others AND how to effectively deal with these issues when you become aware. Our LEOās have two options (think green light/red light), allow weapons or not allow weapons to individuals who have a history of violence or mental issues. We need to change this so for example we add a yellow and Orange status to say prevent certain people from owning multiple high magazine capacity magazines, or in some cases being allowed to only have a weapon at home but NOT on you outside of your home (carry).
My logic is simple, look back to the 1960ās, presidential debates where a question about gun control were not just laughed at, they were mocked. With every passing presidential term the gun control question meets less and less resistance as more and more mass shootings occur. This shift in public opinion is noticeable as in the last several elections EVERY Democrat candidate supported gun control of some kind. The WHY is simple, peopleās attitudes are changing as they grow more concerned about their and their familyās safety, they voice these concerns to politicians who must adopt these concerns in order to get elected. If you follow this trend, we will begin to see Republicans change their opinions too, and as gun lobbyistās fight EVERY change, what I fear is reaching a point when āthe rubber band snapsā resulting to a modification or deletion of our Second Amendment rights, then only the criminals will have guns. Before you say this will never happen, remember that the U.S. Constitution is written in pencil, it can and has been changed. If we, ALL OF US, both parties donāt take steps to reduce gun violence, we will lose the second amendment, and it will be ALL OF OUR FAULTS. š

No one considers it good, killing babies is THE last choice. But letās also be clear, Republicans have voted AGAINST every possible attempt to save those babies that we can, AGAINST all efforts to provide laws to protect school, jobs, housing assistance, pre-natal and medical care as well as adoption assistance. They vote against these life saving policies by saying it would incentivize pregnancy. Think about that, not joking. Republicans have also stated many times that they will make zero concessions in their plan not for altruistic saving babies lives logic, but because they donāt want to lessen the polarization and funding their position provides. Get that? Itās not about saving babies, they donāt want to endanger the revenue stream or loyalty the fight against abortion brings them. Republicans also vote against assistance for mothers to raise these unwanted children, again using the āit would incentivize pregnancy option.
Letās summarize, Republicans donāt want to help mothers, while they may be slightly against killing babies, they will do NOTHING to help mothers in that position. So whatās a mother to be supposed to do when she is pregnant and entering college? Republicans DEMAND she have that baby but donāt want to help care, feed, or provide any medical, job, educational guarantees that would allow the mother to take time off to have and raise the child. Daycare now costs depending on the state from $600 to $1,800 per month, and get no assistance whatsoever. It is my opinion that the state SHOULD do everything possible to enable mothers carry to term, then raise or put the child up for adoption. Being heartless to require them to have the child while withholding all help to do so is wrong. If the state wants to save that child, it needs to take an active role in helping that child. š

Absolutely. But I lost faith after Trump tried to spin the Mueller Report, which concluded by saying āWe have found ample evidence of Trump working with a foreign nation to manipulate an election, collusion and obstruction. However we are unable to prosecute a sitting president,ā and Trump announced that āthey had found nothing, found him innocent, that he was completely exonerated.ā Everyone in my church cheered, yeah! Those evil DemonRats! And I found myself asking these people but the news published the transcripts, they played portions of the conversation, it was him, he said and did that. They just laughed, believing Trumps lies.

If you want to know my position, as at inception a life is started, any act such as an abortion terminates that potential life. And I agree with free will, itās their choice, and also donāt feel the state should block abortion unless the state is going to pick up the tab to raise that child. What irks me is Republicans block every attempt to save babies through removing the obstacles we can, by job, housing, educational, medical assistance and adoption. Republicans vote AGAINST these laws under the stated belief it would incentivize pregnancy, and lessen their support from the religious right. Did you catch that? Abortion is wrong, unless it brings in money, then we (Republicans) will fight against any and all concessions as it will limit/reduce our revenue stream and decrease party loyalty.

And hereās the fun part, in 16 states in primarily Democrat cities the date mail in votes could be accepted was quietly changed from postmarked by, to RECEIVED BY Election Day. Also mailboxes in major cities only and sorting machines were removed, and late filers wishing to drop off their mail in votes was changed from city offices to COUNTY offices, resulting in many having to drive 4 hours or more to drop off their vote, and then wait in lines all in the middle of Covid. Facebook did delete posts, but thereās a list of false information that affected idiots posting crap on a;l sides of the political spectrum. Additionally, Facebook is NOT the government, they are a private company, so therefore are free to steer their platform in any direction they want. And if you are referring to 3 of the 7 vote counting stoppages filmed, all were due to Covid fears, or due to poll watchers creating disturbances. Poll watchers can watch, and stop things if they see something wrong, but many were using their positions to seriously delay, and raising a red flag because āthey wanted to look at a ballot, which they do not have the right to do. This is all documented! This was THE most watched and audited election in the history of the United States, ever. And yes, there were a few states that did kick poll watchers out, because they were disruptive, stopping the machines for every conceivable nonsensical reason. And the 54k āillegal votes?ā No. They were 54k votes MORE THAN THAT PRECINCT HAD CITIZENS that was verified that people had used the wrong precinct out of convenience. Trump could have ārequestedā classified documents to be declassified, but DID NOT DO SO WHILE PRESIDENT. There is a process and Trump did not follow it. Had he done so, there would be a paper trail, if approved or denied. 3. Pence, Biden and Hillary had classified documents too, but THEY ALL COMPLIED with the FBI to return them, they notified the FBI when they were found. 4. Trump tried to keep them, he lied, had his attorney lie, jerked around the FBI for over a year before they searched. Thatās why the term āWILLFUL RETENTIONā is used, why Trump committed a crime. 5. There have been 3 known foreign agents at Mar a Lago, and there are still missing classified documents. Trump isnāt just looking a document crimes, or lying to investigators charges, Trump may face espionage charges. THAT IS WHY THIS IS SERIOUS!

Over 5,000 died under Trumps zero tolerance policy, and over 5,000 children lost, separated forever from their parents. If Trumps committing treason three times wasnāt enough, his election fraud, whatās the killing of 5,000 Hispanics to a racist white nationalist party? Please, letās let that issue fade away, itās unenforceable, Trump gets a pass on that one.

In the past, pre-Trump, that they worked together for the good of their states and the country, right? Unless there was an issue, bills still got authored and passed by both sides. There are were zero bills passed because the Republican Party is split, and it is in chaos. Democrats have always voted on the merits of the bills, even in the ousting of McCarthy, removal of Santis, budget extensions, Dems voted.

I find it impossible to believe how many people think Trump is NOT guilty, we all watch the news, we all know that he pulled out every trick and tactic to win, we know that while there were small issues, nothing was found that would alter the outcome of the vote count not just nationwide, but in any state or PRECINCT. IF you follow the law at all, politics at all, you know Trump is guilty, the only question is to what degree. And seriously, the Republican Party has become a party based on lies, how the hell do we trust anything from any Republican at this point?
As far as Biden, he was no oneās first pick ā But he wasnāt Trump. Why are no Republicans questioning WHY all of this Biden this and that is coming up now? Could it be a distraction like when Trump held a cabinet meeting to discuss āhow to distract from the impeachment hearingsā and he selected ākill Iran General on Iraq soilā from a bullet list saying āMy people will like thatā? We have ALL heard the accusations, and laughed at the witness testimonies that supposedly said whatever and it ended up being nothing. All the hoopla screams and Republican witnesses that turned out to be known Chinese spies, and their most recent witnesses most damning testimony was āHunter called his dad, they talked about dinner plans.ā I get it, I donāt like Biden but Iād rather have a kindly old man in the white house over an evil lying conman. Hunter Biden is a worthless individual, yet there has so far been zero testimony that indicates a crime.

Everything on Fox/NewsMax/OAN appears to be speculation, no reputable news organization has joined in, and while the rumors appear possibly true, the evidence has not been present with the speculation. If true, Biden will lose the election as Democrats DO care about integrity. I am suspect why though you arenāt aware that just because something is repeated over and over doesnāt make it true, and why no one is asking why now? Letās be clear, the Republican Party ABSOLUTELY has become more racist in the past 5 years. There has been zero disassociation or distancing of the KKK, white nationalist, or other racist groups flying their confederate flags high at Republican conventions and meetings. Trump called them fine people, shook the hands of KKK hat and t-shirt wearing fans. Yeah, yeah, yeah, WEEKS later Trump did, haltingly, hesitatingly disavow the Proud Boys when pushed HARD in an interview, after being repeatedly pushed and challenged āYou wonāt do it will you, you wonāt distance yourself, then do it. The rhetoric that caused this, all over a lie, was due to Trump. Go sell crazy somewhere else. What gets me is I used to be a Republican, I voted for Trump in 2016. The Republican Party has been reduced from a party of principles, to a disgraceful group of racist lying, two faced, hateful idiots with zero values.
