@timothyhermanto2143 — Because for people who have never visited there, the terrain, weather, etc., are all a mystery. I’ve never been, and I didn’t think of the Himalayas either, we only know Pakistan through the news from occasional car bombings, and other news worthy items like this. Please forgive us for living on the other side of the world.

@1painter4hire — Anytime! I’m in Dallas, Texas, and the summers here can be hot and humid, the winters cold. I feel for the tourists who come unprepared or experience the unexpected. Have friends from Las Vegas who came in the summertime, it was about 116° F when they left, 105° F here, and they like to have died. They were used to the heat, but not the humidity. Pass people on the sidewalks wearing shorts in 28° weather and we just smile and ask New York? The response is often humorous, “that obvious or Florida.”
