That is not their argument. The point you missed is 1. There is no incriminating evidence whatsoever, yet. 2. No evidence makes this a pointless exercise, and means it’s just retribution and distraction. Ask yourself why now just as Trump’s trials are ramping up? 3. It was to point out their hypocrisy at Trump actually committing Treason three times and Republicans being blind and failing to impeach for cause.
