  3. True, but a phased in approach would be best. Remember the class action lawsuits against Saudi Arabia after 911? Obama ended up passing a law preventing US citizens from suing foreign governments. Why? Because the Saudi’s own so much property, so many investments, so many fingers in so many pots that if they withdrew their investments the USA would be in financial ruin. China owns a small percentage of land, so minimal impact. But that is WHY they are buying more.
