  1. The banks that facilitated the loans are the ones on the hook. Unless you want to create a banking collapse, that money has to come from somewhere. The real issue is the state of education in America, not joking! Look at any tech company and you will see an ocean or foreigners. Don’t like student debt relief, then help renew our educational system. You can’t have it both ways.
