Why? They are just doing their job. Are Republicans above the law? How about we wait and see if the trial is fair and what the verdict is.

Ā @pamm4376Ā ā What is going on?

Trump is facing a reality check. I expect he will be convicted, but the sentence suspended or a presidential pardon will be given. Thereās nothing politically to be gained from Trump being in prison, everything to gain from a very public conviction.

Is it? These cases have been in the pipe since Trump left office. The wheels of Justice turn slowly. Keep in mind that the only charge that Trump should have to worry about is the Electoral Voter swap plan. THAT is illegal, but⦠as it was planned, not done, is it an actual offense? I mean did he break the law? I fantasize about rigging the lottery every other year or so, think about how it might be done too. Thinking about a crime, planning or communicating about it just might be argued as NOT being an actual crime.

Of course, Trump only hires the best! ā¤

Ā @Brucev7Ā ā Most testified to the January 6th committee so their testimony granted them limited immunity. The 3 that refused⦠I havenāt kept track but I think they are also facing charges. (Not sure about all of them.) The ones we need to worry about are the ones that helped Trump try to destroy the surveillance tapes as their testimony proves Obstruction.

But⦠what if Trump really did try and overturn multiple states electoral voters and replace them with his own. THAT may be the only crime that he is charged with that he has to worry about, and even that is questionable as it was not done (thank Pence). Everything else can he argued away as free speech rights except the election fraud case, and that was just planned, NOT DONE, so is that a crime? I think about rigging the lottery every few years or so, should I be convicted too? š

Ā @TRUTHx247Ā ā You know Trumps aides and cabinet (save the 3 that refused to testify) ALL testified to the January 6th committee that they did due diligence on every possible theory and possible option that Trump or anyone suggested⦠and all told trump that nothing was found that would change any states or even precincts voting results. And they all told Trump that nothing substantial was found. (Irregularities yes, but all minor.) Trump KNEW the election was stolen, the data had been given to him repeatedly and Trump continued to lie. I get it, lying is a free speech right⦠but he knew.

Ā @Brucev7Ā ā Unequal justice? When did another politician try to subvert an election by overriding the states chosen electoral voters and replacing them with Republicans? Serious questions, there is PROOF that Trump and his team did this.

It all depends on the information from the trials. ALL of them are questionable save one. January 6th insurrection = Free speech. Trump didnāt enter or try to disrupt the procedure, his followers did. The one charge he should be focused on is the electoral fraud he committed when he tried to replace several states electoral voters with Trump voters, and THAT while a crime was not actually done. A lot of people talk about, plan for a bank robbery or whatever⦠but thinking about a crime isnāt a crime. Pence stopped that (Thank you Sir) and therefore there may have been no crime. I for one am looking FORWARD to the trials. š

Ā @banditva8040Ā ā IF convicted Iām sure he will get a suspended sentence or presidential pardon. The issue is Trump is a lying conman, spins everything, and IF ELECTED, he will pardon himself, claim he was completely exonerated and his cult of Trumpets will believe it. And as he has threatened retaliation⦠I would expect the justice system to be crippled for daring to investigate him. Iām beginning to believe he really is a gangster.
