  1. The difference is he complied, it was Biden that notified the FBI that he found the classified documents. Trump lied, concealed, argued he had the right to keep them, then had his lawyer lie to the FBI that Trump had no classified documents. Willful retention.

  2.  @melindamorgan4879  — At that level of government they do it, even senators and congressmen take classified documents for reading on weekends. They do get misplaced, as the president, VP and key Senate/Congress members have staff that assist them. The legal issue here is “willful retention.” Biden and his people notified the FBI that they found them, there was no attempt to keep or hide them.
