bradstrunk3755 — U.S./Mexico. Republicans had a chance to make a major difference at the border… and threw it away. Our (Republicans) stated reason was “We want to keep the border issue to attract voters to the Republican Party in the upcoming elections, and we don’t want to give the Democrats a win.” If you read the bill, it looked pretty good, nearly everything we wanted. But we would rather have chaos over helping the citizens. I get it, but it’s also stupid and childish.

You know that they wouldn’t pass the foreign aid bill because it had the border security bill on it, because we didn’t want to give the dems a win. So the dems removed the border bill from the foreign aid bill. Then they voted against the foreign aid bill with the border security bill removed, because it doesn’t contain the border bill. Seriously, you couldn’t make this up if you tried.

Do you know several states are intercepting illegal aliens at the border, preventing their deportation and bussing them to major cities to inflame the border issue? This has been going on for over a year, an estimated 50,000 per month. All for politics! Doubt me? SEARCH FOR IT! As a Republican I am mad as hell!

This, THIS is politics at its worst, exacerbate a bad situation so we can have some political point to rile people up and scream “LOOK AT THEM!!!” ? What the hell has happened to us where we create problems just to use what we made worse as something to anger voters like you and I? I’m ashamed! Why aren’t you?
