I got a jacket at a Lord & Taylor clearance store about 30 years ago, and I still love it. Been many times for business and a few times for personal trips. And I must admit, every time, every neighborhood, always different. While nothing warranted the cost of the trip, each time was either enjoyable or interesting! The shows are amazing, the restaurants “can” be good, and you need to be wary of cab drivers! LOL! Ask a cabbie where to eat and you’ll get a scary mix of truly excellent Mom & Pops restaurants, hell holes with what passes as food, or tourist traps that will be an exercise in patience.
