I’m confused. We went with some church members to the initial BLM marches/protests in Dallas. It became apparent that as white persons, we were absolutely NOT welcome there. Our church group was shocked at the hostility, and after several hours of worsening hostility, and as vehicles were being damaged, we all left as a group as our presence was not having the desired effect to support the BLM cause. The environment was CLEARLY HOSTILE. Why on earth would white people who are clearly unwanted attend to try and support a BLM march? My point is the only white people there would have been clearly AGAINST BLM, and placing themselves intentionally in a volatile situation inviting conflict. I just don’t understand why anyone would do that? It makes zero sense, except to make things worse.
