  3.  @Digger-Nick  — CNN has done a few retractions, Fox on the other hand has defended every lawsuit successfully with the same argument, “THEY ARE NOT NEWS, THEY ARE ENTERTAINMENT, THAT AND FREE SPEECH LAWS THAT ENABLE THEM TO LIE.” The only reason you think mainstream media is lying, is because they started pointing out Trumps constant “misinformation” (lies) so Trump started calling them “false” or “fake news.” So the reason, the logic behind your statement is that you would rather believe known liars like Trump or those that support him over trusted, verifiable news organizations that back every story with their journalistic integrity, their jobs, on the line. I get your point, news is biased as hell, and I agree, I wish it wasn’t that way too. But when multiple fact checkers verify a story, I’ll trust CNN or other news organizations over NewsMax and Fox, who vehemently protect their right to lie and publish lies based on their free speech rights any day.
