  1. I think everyone here including Cuomo, is missing the other valid point on why everyone supporting Trump ignores his actions. Ever since the Republican Party aligned with the religious right the division has grown between the two major parties. With each democratic party movement and mistake (Such as Clinton’s affair) to align themselves with the liberal left the same thing has occurred. Republican sided with pro life, Democrats sided with pro-choice. Republicans cited against equality or LGBT individuals, Democrats cited for equality. And then Obama did they unthinkable, he came out publicly in support of marriage equality, and Republicans came out strongly against it. When marriage equality was passed by the supreme court, the sides and lines were drawn. Trump switch parties from independent to the Republican Party specifically to take a vantage of this and get elected. Trumps Fanbase believes him to be Christian like the entire Republican Party, and the Democrat party to be as unchristian as it gets. The issue is simple, it doesn’t matter what Trump says has done, or will do, because he is saved, and forgiven and therefore blameless in the eyes of God and then for everything, because they believe the Republican Party is godly and the Democrat party is not. Until Democrats convince the world that they have Christian values also, this divide in our nation will continue like a plague. This is how civil wars start, and if you look at our divided nation… You should be able to see this as clearly as I do. THIS is why there is a division between church and state.
