@blossomsnow -- Interesting! But just because Obama set a record doesn't mean that those he pardoned weren't for good reasons. Trump has literally pardoned mass murderers. Bottom line, Obama pardoning 330 felons is better than Trump pardoning his buddies and murderers, no matter the numbers pardoned.

@blossomsnow -- I'll look at your link. But you are clearly against Obama just because he is a democrat, yet you ignore the many crimes Trump has done. You are as the bible says pointing out the speck in someone else's eye while ignoring the log in yours. This is some info on Obama's use of his pardoning power: "President Barack Obama's use of his pardon power was relatively rare compared to other presidents. But he granted clemency—which includes pardons, commutations, and remissions—more times than any president since Harry S. Truman. Obama absolved the sentences of 1,937 convicts during his two terms in the White House. According to the Pew Research Center: "Barack Obama ended his presidency having granted clemency to more people convicted of federal crimes than any chief executive in 64 years. But he also received far more requests for clemency than any U.S. president on record, largely as a result of an initiative set up by his administration to shorten prison terms for nonviolent federal inmates convicted of drug crimes. Looking at the same data another way, Obama granted clemency to only 5 percent of those who requested it. That’s not especially unusual among recent presidents, who have tended to use their clemency power sparingly."

@blossomsnow -- I'm lost... you brought up Obama's pardoning James Cartwright, and posted an irrelevant link about two generals urging everyone to support and accept the election results. What am I missing?

@blossomsnow -- Actually, while I did vote for Obama, I also think he isn't perfect. And I didn't search for good or bad articles, that was literally the first one on the list. But later I did read several, and I do not see were Obama pardoned friends, or anyone that went to jail for following his orders. I watched the house and senate impeachment hearings for one example, and read the complete albeit redacted Mueller Report, and read the FBI reports on their investigation of Trump. Trump or his campaign did indeed pay a Russian company to place ads on several platforms, and were behind the hacking of Hillary's servers. Trump did withhold aid to Ukraine dependent on their "announcing an investigation into the Biden's" (note not do one, 3 had already been done), and he did attempt to cover both events up. And you should too as at the start of the impeachment trial, the Republican party did say that the Presidents actions were not the issue, he did what he was accused of, the question before the senate was to decide if those actions were impeachable offenses. I agree with them that it was not an impeachable offence. However if ANY OTHER PERSON had worked with a foreign country to influence a presidential election, that would have been a prison sentence, perhaps death if they pushed the Treason angle.
