  1. Deep Waterz R. — This is racist bigotry at its worst. That NONE of the cops present, what were there 6? had the presence of mind to say "Guys, what are we doing?" And ask some common logical questions is reprehensible, unthinkable... but it happened. It never ceases to amaze me how many police officers have missed their fast food career calling. (Not a joke) every officer involved in this needs to be terminated and marked "NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE," by any department.

  2. Abraham Lincoln — Depends on the State, City, and also the police union. Some cities and police unions maintain an insurance policy protecting the officers from legal action. By protect I mean, any acts are defended, and if the plaintiffs win, the insurance covers both their defense and protects them financially.
