  1. What irks me is we have no choice, if an officer wants to search your car, he can and will. I’ve had officers say they smelled marijuana (I don’t), get a dog who WILL signal and they will search. It’s pointless to resist.

  2. Like several have said, use your right of free speech to, after denial, say being rude has nothing to do with the charges other than show the officers ego was hurt. ALSO, GET A DASH CAMERA! Ensure you spend a few bucks to get a gps unit that tracks and puts the speed on the video. (Best way to win a speeding or whatever cause for the stop the officer cited.) And third, even if you have a dash camera, put your phone on record mode and set it somewhere close enough to hopefully catch video, but absolutely record audio.
