@stepbrobiwankenobi — There are a dozen camera types officers use. I have seen them place their finger over their cameras mic, and put their hand over the lens to block it for personal conversations, but I’ve never seen one muteable. They CAN turn it on and off, and it takes about 30 seconds for some models to have the audio kick in. For THIS video, the blurring and audio muting was done in editing. Sorry. 🤣

@SuperBlueeyes89 — I believe the audio was muted in video editing. But… privacy rights dictate that even a police officer has a reasonable right to privacy, as do the people they are recording.
