  1. Fun fact: eating fried chicken in the 40s 50s was only done in restaurants and often served family style with sides being passed around the table. It was an event to go out to eat fried chicken. Usually reserved for special occasions...until the 60s when fried chicken became popularized as a fast food. After that the "special occasion" fried chicken dinner slowly became obsolete.
