Yeah and LiBCM can be pretty much a install once and done for the rest of the life of the car... it cost a bit more but its better than replacing the NiMH pack and dealing with its quirkyness.

The CR-Z kinda doesn't make sense though... it gets worse MPG and basically they could have just gotten rid of the hybrid system and probably gotten better performance.

@hitman hit Every modern car is designed in CAD, however they certainly mocked this car up with a reference clay model... which some manufacturers forgo these days.

Except it is.... my 200hp Accord blows that extra HP into the CVT.... the Mazda almost certainly has equal wheel HP and is more responsive to boot.

Mazda should just give in and put a 0.5 liter bigger engine in loose maybe 1mpg and sell 10x the cars that's just how things in the USA work.... people know a Hyundai is a junk car but they see it has a bigger engine than the Mazda and guess what they buy the Hyundai.

A Scout EV is STUPID. Go partner with cummins and achates power and get thier engine off the drawing board and out of the military stable into your truck. I have a full size blazer... a REAL scout would be appealing ... yet another crappy EV is not.
