This is pretty much inferior to the iBOT system... which has been out soo long already that the patents are probably expiring soon.... which means companies like this have to develop "new" but probably inferior ways to do ths same thing so they can get patent protection even though it's already a solved problem. The same thing happens with the super simple ventolin system I used a a kid... stick the powder pill in twist, suck and hold your breath... done. Now they have this fancy over engineered automatic dispensers... that cost an arm and a leg just so they can patent them and you can't even buy the old simple rotahaler anymore.

  2. You must have missed the iBot which was released in 2005, its basically a segway wheelchair that can also climb stairs.... this design is also an old one and has been around for ages, as its nothing more than a stabilized tracked chair which is actually a low tech solution.
