@CrossCynical Exactly at least 40k deaths in NY were due to democrats moving COVID patients into nursing homes. COVID deaths currently have a dominate group of about 40% of elderly people probably in large part directly due to this. When you are old... you won't want to be moved into an assisted death facility (Hospice), where they hop you up on morphine which kills your appetite eventually leading to death by self starvation, but if you don't have family to fight for you... you will be moved there as soon as they think you aren't worth keeping around.

Actually that's mostly the fault of the Denver engineering disaster, Airports in the USA , less so other places are now overly cautious with baggage handling systems (I work for a company that makes sorting systems and ours would work great we could sort a whole plane worth of baggage in probably less than 5 minutes) and from there it would just ride a conveyor to the correct carousel or loading on the next plane... It's not so much lack of technology as incompetence and little competition in the aviation field these days. We travel alot installing our systems for various companies (parcel services and e-retailers etc...) and it's always a shame how slow baggage handling is.

What atmospheric trash? Musk lands his rockets now... unlike everybody else. Also, he briefly showed a design for a satellite capture system for cleaning up derelict satellites.

Well, he's far less of a leech than all the other areospace companies combined.. so I don't he deserves that bashing. He's acutally doing amazing things with the money he has been given which has been quite modest relative to say the pork budget for the SLS. If SpaceX didn't exist we'd be paying triple for Russian rockets...

@lolz616 GM could easily beat ford by installing opposed piston engines in their entire truck lineup, they'd be cheaper to make, cheaper to run and meet pretty much any emissions standard ever reasonable conceived and use less DEF than any heavy duty diesel truck on the road. I mean we are talking mid 20s MPG at best (my 1986 chevy blazer can do that), vs upper 30s mpg... and around 270hp. But since we have lobbiests... nobody wants to actually compete and make thier company succeed... they are content with the slice of pie they have.... and when that happens its time to let them go under.
