But there are so many possibilities, even on 500 °C Venus, there are places in the upper atmosphere that have moderate temperatures, or on a cold planet there might be kilometer deep cracks or valleys that have better temperatures, or on slow/not rotating planets you have the full variety of year long night and day temperatures. But all people constantly say, life must be in the habitable zone ...
